J.B. Orcas

Everybody seems to like stuff that is new, new, new when it comes to ice fishing. I'm kind of a jig addict, but haven't found anything brand spanking new that I hadn't seen, or at least hadn't seen in a different name. The J.B. Lures Orca is something new. I've seen horizontal hook jigs, and Lindy Flyers are similar, although generally larger (1/4 oz). The Orca seems like something new to add to the jig box. I've only seen a little bit of information on the Orcas at the J.B. HSOforum and in Outdoor News, but I hear they've been field tested for a couple years and worked well.

Some days vertical jigs are the way to go and some days horizontal jigs are the ticket. This jig, with a little horizontal glide in its movement, might be something a little bit different to throw at 'em.

WOW! Weird, so I was at GM the other day and asked my gf to pick out any ol lure (i like to always buy a weird lure every yr and try em out) and she picked up the Glow Blue Orca by JB. I used in on URL and managed a few walleye on em when the bite was slow Haven't used it exclusively but I can tell you that it does work. Always good to have something "different" to throw at em.
