Wright & McGill Skeet Reese Signature Series Rods

For a spinnerbait, crankbait rod, to a fill a niche I think these will be great. After making 20-30 casts with a rod, I think you adapt to the feel of the rod and adjust accordingly. Now if your reel is on the cheap side, there is no adjusting to bad gears, poor drag, and spool control issues. I plan on looking the Skeet rods over and compare them to a KVD Tour edition, 7-10 model. Fished a friends KVD this fall, very nice throwing a spinnerbait and crankbait, paired with a REVO premier you can launch it mile.

The Carolina/Swimbait rod I received on Friday isn't the lightest, but it isn't too bad. (How light are your 7-6" Carolina rods?) Good deal for the money. 13 eyes including the tip. The spinnerbait rod I ordered is backordered.

It' is funny having fished as a coangler with some of those guys that their equipment isn't that good but having experienced fishing with them they could fish with a twig and string and outfish most rec anglers.

By the way Cecil, did you check out the Pierz Marine closeouts on the Tritons and if so what came of it.
