HI MOVED HERE FROM THE WEST COAST AND HAVE BEEN HOME SICK UNTELL I WAS ON OLD MISSI FISHING THIS WEEKEND.I FOUND A SPOT

THAT HAD SHALLOW WATER PRETTY CLEAR COULD SEE FISH IN THE ROCKS COULD IT GET ANY BETTER.BUT MY ? IS DOSE ANY ONE KNOW IF THERE IS A SECULDED CAMP SPOT ON THE RIVER NEXT TO NOBODY OR MAYBE PRIVATE LAND WERE SOME ON WOULD NOT MIND US CAMPING AND FISHING

BY US MY 8YR OLD SON CAUGHT HIS FRIST BASS AND MY 10YR OLD SON GOT A 30IN NORTHERN THERE HOOKED AND WE CANT STAND CAMPING IN PARKS U DONT NEED SHOWERS WERE YOU CAMP LOL

If you call the DNR office in st paul or minneapolis (not sure where it is located) they will send you, free of charge, multiple maps of the mississippi that have all the first come first serve campsites marked on it. There are surprisingly more campsites than i thought.
