Have a 2005 chev silverado 4X2 pickup 2 door with 8 foot bed with leer topper and 245 70 17 tires. Can I put unroyal P265 70 17 tires on it with out any problems? What is the difference between 245 and 265 70 17 tires? Thank you

The 245 or 265 is the width of the tire. 70 is the height of the sidewall (percentage of the width) and 17 is obviously the rim size.

You should be ok to go with a slightly larger tire. They will throw off your speedometer and that can be remedied by having a dealership or appropriately equipped auto shop reprogram the speedo for you.
