Ok, here is an odd question for you all. My father has an old Micronar M810 depth finder. This was a unit that was way ahead of its time. Kinda an odd duck. It had a rotating tranceducer. So you could pivot it from side to side, I suppose you could say it was the first side scan unit.
ANYWAY.
The ducer its self is filled with some sort of oil or liquid. My fathers has sprung a leak. Any idea what it would be filled with.

I went ahead and watched some of the MLF coverage. Wheeler didn’t make the cut but the bigger story was the Poche/Avera fallout.
Kinda funny listening to both sides of the story and putting together the scenario, reading between the lines.
