pj4 Posted October 23, 2008 Share Posted October 23, 2008 putting in an outdoor stove. has any one had experience with duo-pex for underground use? not sure if it it oxygen rated.should i stick to the metal reinforced hose, such as wirsbo? what do you know that does not work? NAMASafetyDirector Posted October 24, 2008 Share Posted October 24, 2008 Just going to install mine tomorrow, it is the pex-al-pex wrapped in insulation and stuffed inside a 4" drain tile. The al-pex is much easier to work with since it is easily bent and formed and has memory to it. The stuff without the aluminum liner is a bear to work with since it always seems to want to coil back up in the roll when your trying to lay it down.
