Expired Drivers License

Well, I was informed by my wife last night, that my genius daughters drivers license is 10 days expired for renewal. She is 18 and will be applying for full license. What are the ramifications of being expired. Will she need to retake written or driving portion of test? Or nothing? Thanks

Without a valid driver's license, your insurance does not cover her.

Already told her shes done driving till renewed. She was home in about 10 minutes after I phoned her last night. I think I freaked her out with the seriousness of the situation.

No she wont need to retake anything, just get her in and have it renewed!

Licenses issued at age 16 now expire at 18?? I think my first license was good until age 21. They used to be called PROVISIONAL, had a black strip at the top (instead of red) and had raised lettering like a cedit card. Man, I am only 33, and how times have changed.
