indoor/outdoor thermometers

i have an accurite indoor/outdoor digital thermometer thats gone goofy. this is the second one. is it they only last 2-3 years or is it just the brand? ive replaced the battery and will not reset, the outdoor temps say lo. ant ideas or opinions on a better brand would be appreciated.

My 30 dollar atomic clock has lasted me a long long time. It displays indoor and outdoor temp also.

I have had some go bad, of different brands. Some last some don't.

Have you tried reseting both units? I have problems with mine when I replace the batteries and have to do that to get them to work. Also try a different channel. You should have 3 channels to chose from.

They are getting quite popular. Many different stores carry them now.

Only thing with those atomic clocks is make sure it does not update and switch to a different time zone. I have been late to work a few times because of this.
