I just posted on the little things thread, but I wanted to have a seperate post on Pothole awareness.

Spring brings out all the nasty things that winter has created and one of the most serious hazards you can find on the roads are potholes. While riding, always make sure that you are aware of what lies in the road in front of you. I have hit some potholes with my car, and straddled a lot, but potholes and motorcycles don't get along at any level. Please, Please, Please be careful while out.

Also watch out for all the added sand that is still left over from winter that hasn't been washed, scrubbed away. Take extra caution in corners.

Be safe and keep the shiny side up.
