Question

A few questions for all of you....I have a wheel house and I would like to watch some TV at night when the eyes shut down on LOTW... I have comcast as a current provider and I don't want to get rid of them since I like the internet with them.... Any good ways to go about this??? My dad has Dish Network I think and I am sure I could swing a deal with him.... Since the house is going to moved all the time how would a guy aim the dish???

You could try to get an extra card and dish for Dish Network setup on your Dad's plan. I do believe an extra card will cost money to be able to use it at the same time as your Dad uses his. (This is the case for us with DirecTV. Maybe not for you)

And aiming the dish just takes time. Either you can do it manually or buy something to do it automatically. If you do it manually, just make sure to have that side of the house facing the direction you normally need to in order to get signal. Otherwise, we mounted a dish to a tripod and moved it around as needed, though wind is a factor with a tripod.

If you go the automatic route, you might end up paying a good sum. We have a King-Dome (Like for satellites on RVs) and sometimes it's slow, but it usually works great. Never have to worry about nature with this really. And surprisingly, during harsh snow, we haven't had signal issues either. Knock on wood :P
