New Twins Commercials

Just saw the new Twins commercials. Pretty funny stuff.

It is Pat Neshek day at the dome and a bunch of girls are solicited for questions by a guy with a microphone next to Neshek in the locker room. They ask what Mauer's favorite kind of cheese is, if Mauer has a girlfriend, and what Mauer smells like. Then they tell him he should grow out some sideburns.

Pretty funny and true.

That one is pretty funny, my favorite is Maur, Morneau, and Cuddyer hitting homers and cuddy breaks the Indians fans car window, and TK says "Oh, that's a shame" I laugh every time I see it.

The neshek one is classic!

My sister works for an ad agency called Periscope in the cities and they do the Twins advertising. E-mailed her and she said there is a new one coming out with Tony Oliva and a couple of guys dressed like Chinese wise men. New players come to them for advice.

She also said local high school students were used for the Neshek commercial. The players hitting in the new park is a favorite among the players themselves.

I prefer the radio adds myself, the one about Duddley Doo Right cracks me up.

Just saw the new commercial on the Twins site. Who my sister describes as a "couple other guys" turned out to be Killbrew, Carew and Hrbek. So far, I like the Neshek one better.

Yeah - the Delmon Young and the Monks commercial wasn't as good as the others but the older twins fans will enjoy it!

Yeah, that was good. I'm sure Hrbey did it for free...or at least the bucket of chicken.
