Navionics hotmaps chip for etrex

I didn't know exactly where to put this thread but figured people would be using it for ice fishing so here it is. Does anyone know if they make the navionics hotmaps premium 2008 in a micro SD card that will work in the etrex GPS's. On cabelas it says the card is an SD and all I have seen is that they will work in some of the Lawrances but I haven't seen any small enough cards for the etrex's or any other Garmin's for that matter. I guess I don't know, maybe some of the larger versions of the Garmin's take SD cards? Wondering if I'm not looking hard enough or if they really don't make it. Thanks. Brent.

As far as I know you are out of luck. They only make them in the SD and compact flash card (I think thats what is called).

You can get a Garmin Mapsource chip but it wont have the same detail. What unit do you have?

Garmin legend Cx. It's one of the models with a color screen. I didn't think they made it in the small card that fits these models but these are such popular models of GPS's I would think they should. I know it's not a problem with being able to fit that amount of info on it, I bought a 2 GB card that I uploaded my mapsource topomaps on, it would just be nice to have a card with those lake maps on it as well.
