Come on...you guys need to go back to Kindergarten and learn how to share again ;\) I have a few guys in the Webster area this weekend providing poor reports so far. They said Stink stunk yesterday with only a handful of perch, most were smaller. They're on Piyas now...

Ya there are fish biting now thats for sure, but by what I saw happen on piyas, stink, and hauge the last few years when people started talking I can completely understand why the smart ones keep quite.

ANyway the info I have for you is to stay away from those lakes that were hot earlier this year and got pounded and try some of the less pressured lakes in the area that nobody has been talking about. Thats what has been working for me lately. Keep on moving and you'll find em!

I can appreciate the tight lips about information. I get out to Webster 4 times a year and usually spend 2 weeks a year out in Mobridge. Fishing in SD is no different than fishing in MN. Catch fish and say more than 1 sentence about it, you will have 50 of the most unfamiliar faces around you the next time you are there. I hate the "tight lipped" mentallity but in the age of the internet, this is what it has come to. Information is too available and easy to share.

What I love about going to the Webster area is there are so many lakes that can turn on, I usually avoid Waubay and some of the bigger name lakes. There are so many small named lakes that have such a good wally population. I wish there was some place to work out there and I would move.

their is plenty of places to work you just have to have your priorities right. whats more important money or catching or shooting a limit every night you want? easy for me thats why i live in NE SD. not the twin cities. i moved from there years ago and cant even stand going there to visit family for a weekend. i could be offerred all the money in the world and i still would go back.
