I have a Uniden President radio that I am having problems with. I can here every thing but when I go to talk the only thing anyone else can hear is the clicking when I am pushing in the button. I can’t find anyone around the cities that works on radios they all send them out. One place I talked to said they could order me a mic for $40 but I am not sure if it is worth ordering the mic. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Is it worth sticking money into this radio or should I get a new radio.

Water got into the mic. Those radios are junk. Get a Raytheon.
