I am looking at buying a small 4-stroke and the Nissan 4 HP through 6 Hp motor is sold through Cabelas at some very competitive prices. My question is, "how good a motor is the Nissan?" Any advice? My backup plan is to buy Yamaha's 4 HP 4 stroke. Only I can't find a marina that carries that specific motor. Thanks. Nav

I own a nissan 4-stroke 15hp and ive used it for 1 year behind my duck boat and havent had a problem yet and it always starts in the cold weather. I highly recomend it and the price is very hard to beat.
