Question

I just purchased a power cord for my GPS to use this winter in my pickup. There is one cord that has open wires on it, what is that suppose to be used for? Do I need to do anything with these wires?

Thanks

Mark

Keys I just bought and received a power cord for my MagellanGPS.The open wires are for if ya want to use where there are no lighter sockets, just put on clamps or terminal ends. One for auto one for boat direct to batt. Did yours come with a fused 2 A lighter socket, and no fuse open wire?? Mine did.I plan on usin a inline 2 A fuse.I dont use lighter sockets in boat they crrode too easily.
