I cant seem to get a speed reading when I am drifting or slow trolling? One more twist, it doesnt read when i use the big motor in reverse, but does work whern I move forward. Is there an update or speed recognizer format that I must adjust to read my speed? Help?

Go into your menu system, should be under the system set up turn pinning to off. Then under GPS setup turn the update to time and the rate to 1 sec. That should take care of your problem.
