Lure Help

Hello - I'm looking for some help on homemade muskie lures I've carved by hand. I've been using the same design for bass forever and have had great success with largemouths - have even gotten a couple accidental muskies. I decided to to go magnum and make some big dogs this year. I'd like to find a couple people who fish muskies a lot who would give the big ones a try and let me know what they think. I'm not looking to sell any, I just want to give myself the best chance to get fish on something that they haven't seen before. I just haven't put enough time in yet this year to really gauge if I'm on something or on to something. Let me know if you're interested. At the very least you'd get a free bait to try.

Sorry - I'm not ducking the requests - just haven't been online for a few days - actually got a nice fish yesterday so my weekend was good. I'll try to contact all of the above to set something up to get lures to you.

thanks - erik

You can't trust this guy wink.gif J/K, he only forgets about his ol' brother.

Actually, these lures are based off an old Creek Chub Mouse bass topwater, and he started making them when I got down to my last one. Then he started getting them bigger smile.gif I got a bunch of smallies on some of them last week up nort'.

Make sure you put some split rings on this time wink.gif and use big enough hooks. They are fun because fish smack them hard. I had a big pike or ski inhale one on Bald Eagle when I was bass fishing. No leader, no more lure, drat.
