You're just trying to show off the red eyes. Next time, if there is a next time, I will definitely make sure the light is from the front side of the loon.

Believe me tackleman, I had more than a few that I took with the light on the "wrong" side of the bird so to speak. It's really tough to try to get wild animals in a position where everything lines up right. For every nice capture there are more than a few I have to throw out because something wasn't quite right.
