Crappies on Crane and Sand Point Lakes

Hey everyone! You don't know me...I'm usually a bass/walleye guy...but I'm wondering if anyone ever fishes Voyageurs National Park for spring crappies. I go on an annual trip with 8 other guys (since '93) Memorial Day Weekend but we never fish crappies. This year we've kinda dedicated the trip to finding them for this and future years.

We usually camp in the Namakan Narrows or in Grassy Bay.

Could anyone put us on any bays they've found them up there? We'd appreciate any leads you could give...I'll let you know how we do!

Thanks! Big Toe (so named after the sargent in "Stripes".)
