Cook county (Minnesota) lakes?

Anyone ever do any fishing for walleye/perch along the northshore? My friends and I a thinking about wandering up that what and giving it a go. Any lake suggestions?

your in some great country up in the arrowhead. Might I suggest Lake vermilion?? Not so sure about east further.

I'd post this on the BWCA/duluth forum and I'll bet you will get some hits. Also take a map/atlas and use the lakefinder feature and look for the DNR reports on what the creel surveys are to get an idea of what is in a lake.
