First Cat of the Year!!!!!!!!!

Went out yesterday for about 5 hours(11-4) down at the river near De Lasalle and got my first Cat of the year. It was slow up until about 2 p.m. and I got a few nibbles. I re-hooked a fresh piece of chicken liver (never fails) and about ten minutes into that chunk, BOOM!!! The pole took a good jump. I quickly hooked the cat and reeled her on in. Nothing huge, she came in about 3.5 lbs. but definately fun for my first open water fish of the year. I'm going back down there today to try my luck again!!!!!!!!!!
