RickyBobby
Does anyone have experience with this aluminum boat?? If so, how was the ride? What size engine did it have and did it appear to be enough HP? too much HP? Any other comments would be appreciated. Thanks in advance,RB
HellaBass
My dad runs the 19ft Aluminum Triton, it is very solid, I think he has a 200 or 225, but I still like the glass better

RickyBobby
Definitely can't beat the smooth ride, stability, and speed of glass boats...... I've owned both, and discovered that aluminum offers 2 things that glass doesn't: The ability to launch from pretty much all ramp conditions (dirt ramp, gravel ramp, shallow ramp, steep ramp..... no ramp) and a little more freedom and less stress in puting a few nicks on the hull. I'm pretty set on buying aluminum again. The VT series is pretty new and I was wondering how it compared to Tracker (I currently run a Tracker 17 foot Modified V), Crestliner, or any other modified V packages? From the picture of the VT 17 on Triton's HSOforum, the hull looks to be closer to a full V than most mod V hulls I've seen.
