I have never fished cats, but know a lot about them is there a spot around here that is easy to find and easy to fish? like the ford dam or something either the miss. or the minn. would be ok

If you look on the MN, and Pool2 trend you'll find lots of spots. Near the ford dam where the Minnehaha creed and Miss meet is a great spot. On the MN anywhere off of blackdog rd will hold fish. The two outlets are great places to start, but also most popular. Cut bait has been doing good for channels. 1" chunk of cut sucker is hard to beat.

is there a map where is pool 2 i have no maps of the river and no idea where anything is.

You can go to mapquest and I think it shows which pool's are which and where. But if you take 35w south from MPLS to bloomington you can't miss the blackdog rd area.
