Shakopee Fishing

What time did you guys leave after I fell asleep saturday night? I left my phone in the truck that night and didn't have a watch. I ended up with a 26" flaT in the boat and hooked a pig up but the knot slipped. My roomate was the last one to tie the line and used some goofy f-ing knot. All I know is it was a really nice fish on a 12" sucker minnow. I may head down that way tonight about 7-7:30 if anyone is interested, will be launching in shakopee. run down river for a few hours maybe get off by 11:00-12:00. I gotta work in the morning.If anyone is interested in riding along, post before 6:00.

All I remeber is that the Minnesota was VERY low when me and John (WWG) fished it, and that was about 3 weeks ago. We were scraping a few logs and rocks, and we were in a boat that didn't draw much water (14' Short Shaft) We haven't gotten really any rain since then; so I'm assuming it's even worse now.

I know what you mean when you said you are out of water up river. I fished up from jordan last night for 3 hours, tried to make it past the first hole and hit way to many snags to try to go any farther. Didn't get any runs but only fished for three hours (trying for big fish only). I should be able to get out tomorow (wensday) for a while, maybe not all night. Interested in going farther down river? I'll give you a call.
