Hello guys my question is, is that I bought this auger about 2 weeks ago and it take forever to start it when it is cold, I counted 39 pulls today and it has been sitting for about to days, when it's been running it start usually on the first pull, is there somthing wrong or what. It is the 2 hp motor and has the new decompetion switch

I don;t know about Strikemaster, but my auger has a primer bulb that you push 3 or 4 times that shoots a little fuel in the throut of the carb, then it starts right up.

I fell that every motor has it's little tricks to start them I have a Mag and I have to Choke it, pull until it almost starts then move the choke to half choke and then it will start right up If I don't follow that excact order It'll take a day to started

If you bought it new, mine was hard to start for awhile.

Right above, Grann Dad posed his procedure to get his started - and it is exactly what mine is. Once you get that first pop with the choke on, put the choke at 1/2 or you will flood it and it will be a PITA to get going.

yes I full chock it until it starts, when I first got it I must have pulled 75 times with the decompresion valve pushed in and it wouldn't start until I srayed a little starting fluid in the cylinder and then it poped right off
