Ice Cold
I am replacing a benchtop in my boat and am wondering what type of material weathers/holds up the best. The current material looks like a treated 3/4 inch fiberboard. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.
0 minneman
with the price of plywood these days, not to mention marine plywood,(may have to purchase the whole sheet) you'd probly be better off buying some 3/4" teak boards and laminating them together/cut to fit.Or, if you dont care if it doesnt last 15 years, then stop by a construction site and ask for a scrap of 3/4" plywood, then put a good spar varnish on it. save the old one for a patern if possible[This message has been edited by minneman (edited 05-05-2004).]
