Duck Hunting on the St. Croix River

I am curious if anyone is aware of the duck hunting regulations on the St. Croix river north of Taylors Falls, Mn, and south of Wild River State Park? I am new to the area and have not found anybody who can answer my question, any and all information would be appreciated.

From what was explained to me.. its pretty simple.. Stay on the Minnesota half of the river(including islands) if your a MN resident.. same for wisconsin. It's not the same as the fishing license where you can fish either side.
