The Spartan is the old Bikal, a Russian made gun. I don't know anything about the semi-auto but the O/U is a good hunting gun. It isn't really pretty but it functions well, has decent wood and tight components.

From what I've seen of the O/U I wouldn't hesitate to purchase a semmi-auto, if I were in the market for one.
