Canuck, finally going to get away and head to catfishing paradise on Sept 12 to the 14th, I know things change almost daily on the river, what are conditions now? Will be bringing along sunfish for a fry, hopefully you'll be around, also your lovely bride, see ya soon, Dave

Hi Dave, was wondering when U would show up. The weight has been picking up as the kitties are putting on the feed bag. I wasn't out last wk as I was out archery hunting for elk, NO luck. Did shoot something different though, a Timber Wolf. In Manitoba it is legal to shoot a timber if U have an unused big game tag. The area where I was hunting has been having lots of trouble with wolfs killing calfs, so far 3 dead and 2 badly mangled. Quite pleased with the shot and kill as it didn't go 20 yds. Just too bad they have to be shot but my friends livelhood is cattle and he can't keep feeding the calfs to the wolfs.

We lately have been using tulibuees (sp) but I am sure goldeyes will be good still next week end, and if U have frogs why not bring them.
