Tournaments?

Hi, my name is Dan and I am new to this Forum. I am interested in getting into some tournaments (either bass, or multi-species) but I could really use some information on...how do I find out where tournaments are being held, what requirments are their on boats used in tournaments, how much does it cost to get into a tournament, and any other information you might be able to supply me with. I would mainly like information on tournaments within 75 miles of the Twin Cities. I really look forward to hearing from anyone who can help me with this.
