I bought the new Shimano Corvalus musky reel at Thorne Bros. earlier this year after they told me if I didn't like it after the season, I could exchange it. Well I absolutely loved it until last weekend. It started screaming when I cast it, something is definitely grinding against the gears. After fiddling around with it, I can't figure out what the problem is. When I adjust the tension it reduces the noise somewhat but then I get backlashes.
Has anyone used one and had similar problems? I know I can return it but I love the performance, or at least I did.
