Pigs Eye Lake

Has anyone had much luck in Pigs Eye Lake or the little lake that is connected to it to the West? (I can't remember the name off the top of my head). I had my boat back through Pigs Eye a couple of years ago and it was a bit of chore watching out for the deadhead's, sandbars, etc. If I remember correctly, we gave the trolling motor quite a workout that day (but didn't catch a thing).

I'm thinking about giving it another try this year and am wondering if anyone has suggestions for me.

I have fished little pigs eye once, we trolled shad raps and I hooked two really nice fish, never saw either of them but one almost spooled me with 14 pound test, I think it was a muskie.
