Graph/Flasher combo's - Any recommendations?

I have a SmokerCraft 161 ProMag which I use to fish all species in local lakes and rivers. I am looking to add a fishfinder on the bow to go with the Lowrance X65 I already have on the console. Looking for advice...

Would like to have graph and flasher capabilities. Are these units worth it?

Would like to spend less than $500.

Any brands and models that I should look at as well as ant I should stay away from?

The Lowrance 67C looks like a pretty good unit. I have looked at in stores and read about them on the internet. I see that people use them for ice fishing too.

I like my old lms-320 amd my X-87. The 320 gives me better seperation. i think they have since been replaced by newer units but whatever took over for them will be even better Im sure. Check HSOList. At times you can get real good deals on them there. Also a lot of stores lately moving and selling inventory at a good price. I know Gander in Duluth is moving into a Super Gander or something and their prices drop every week or so.
