How much battery will my flasher need?

On a 3-day trip, I used the 12-volt from my boat to run my auger, which uses up more power than a flasher. I took extra care to keep it warm though.

Other options are:

1) Take along 2 12-volt 7.2amp flasher batteries, which cost around $20.

2) They also make a 12-volt/12amp battery which obviously will last longer than a 7.2amp.

3) If you have a vehicle, you could use a power converter plugged into the cigarete lighter, to then plug a battery charger into, to recharge the flasher battery (with the car running).

Just take care to keep them warm when not in use.

Good luck, and happy fishing.
