Pheasant hunting

I plan on coming to South Dakato sometime in early December where is a good area to go to . Need a area with public land to hunt .

In early December you will have most of the public land to yourself. There ussually isn't many hunters out.

Depends how far you want to drive, but west of Mitchell to Chamberlian and south of there is ussually the best hunting.

If you need a SD hunting Atlas the State of SD will mail you one free. This will tell you all the public land to hunt. Just click on my Name(ifishsd)to go to my Profile. Click on my homepaage link and go to the links on my page. Click on link number 10. That will take you to the GFP site. Click on information(on the left hand side of the web page). Select 2004 SD hunting atlas and fill in your address.
