I hope you get good turn out. Duck opener is poor timing for me.

You are right, it is the same as the duck opener weekend. Time will tell how it affects us. We moved it one week later than normal to avoid a conflict with a Northern's Inc. chapter tournament in the area each year. Then the DNR decided to try an ealier duck opener. Our permit request was in last fall, long before they set waterfowl seasons.

If you are like me, 90% of my duck hunting is later in the season anyway. Most of the guys I talk to said the same thing but it will conflict with some I'm sure.
