My team is:

David Wlaker
Jim Bitter
Woo Daves
Skeet Reese
Gerald Swindle

All placed top ten last year within two weeks of this same time frame and know the lake well.

And still had 4.5 points until the salary cap!!

Since I had nothing else to do, I went through and looked at everyones teams. There is a lot of similarities between teams and I think several teams had 3,4, and some even had 5 for 5 matches. A few people had some no names but for the most part I think all picks were solid. Except for the person who picked Jimmy Houston, what were you thinking?

Results on scores last year were usually not up until the evening.

I don't think I want to even see my first day score. I don't have an angler in the top fifty and I have two in the bottom quarter. Thank goodness my guys have another day to move up and score points. I don't think I have a prayer of a single angler making the cut. In Espn Fantasy it is all about having a shot at 1st through 4th.

My neice Haley is lookin very good (1,33,54,80,140). As is Cyberfish (8,9,33,80,127). Whoever picked Jason Quinn is a genius.

Alton Jones was the man and might not need to catch another fish to make the cut.

Actually the above scoring is not totally accurate. The Frogmen should be beating me as well with 98 points. Apparently there is a glitch that zero'd his scores.

Too bad walleye guy got in to late. Look on the bright side, you will probably be one mediocre pick behind me going into the next tournament.

As the self appointed commissioner of the league I have made an executive decision in regards to the Frogmen. They were given 0 this tournament by ESPN because Joel was unaware of the point values and limit of 50. As it is he had 70 points worth of fisherman. Personally I find it unbelievable that Davey Hite has a value of 16.1 when that number should be about 10 points less. Needless to say a "high market value" doesn't automatically translate into anything when it comes to an actual tournament as that Joel's team for day 1 score was 98; therefore good for 42nd out of our 45 Teams and one of those teams registered after the lock down.

My decision is that here at FM Frogmen points will count for this tournament toward the end of the year.

(Because he has Gary Klien there is a chance he can have a significantly improved score, but that is his only hope unless one of his anglers pulls a rabbit from the hat.)

Well it's the 1st Cut day (down to 12) and very soon we will learn who is still in the game and who like me better start plotting a new course for next weeks event at Smith Lake in Alabama.

(I think I am done with Van Dam who seems to be in a slump.)

Well here is the anglers who made the Cut. Looks like Haley, Cyb, and some others are well positioned. And how bout Wharton jumping from 35th to 2nd with the days biggest limit at 26-07. Did anyone have him, if so your lookin good.

1. Jason Quinn Clover, S.C. 8 39-15
Day 1: 5 24-14 Day 2: 3 15-01
2. David Wharton Sam Rayburn, Texas 10 39-14
Day 1: 5 13-07 Day 2: 5 26-07
3. Scott Suggs Alexander, Ark. 10 39-12
Day 1: 5 22-04 Day 2: 5 17-08
4. Michael Iaconelli Runnemede, N.J. 10 36-08
Day 1: 5 19-04 Day 2: 5 17-04
5. Alton Jones Waco, Texas 10 35-14 $1,000.00
Day 1: 5 27-00 Day 2: 5 8-14
6. Scott Rook Little Rock, Ark. 10 34-13
Day 1: 5 18-03 Day 2: 5 16-10
7. Bud Pruitt Spring, Texas 10 34-07
Day 1: 5 17-06 Day 2: 5 17-01
8. Brent Chapman Shawnee, Kan. 10 34-00
Day 1: 5 21-15 Day 2: 5 12-01
9. Marty Stone Linden, N.C. 10 33-09
Day 1: 5 19-09 Day 2: 5 14-00
10. Chris Baumgardner Gastonia, N.C. 9 33-07
Day 1: 5 14-04 Day 2: 4 19-03
11. Tommy Martin Hemphill, Texas 10 32-11
Day 1: 5 15-10 Day 2: 5 17-01
12. Takahiro Omori Emory, Texas 9 31-09
Day 1: 5 18-10 Day 2: 4 12-15

And how about the effort today of my guy Mark Kile who vaulted from 149th to a respectable 30th place with the days 2nd big stringer at 24-05. Unfortunatly no big string or big fish bonus points for almost.

As I thought there were major moves in the lineup. My team improved significantly, I bet I'll be in the bottom 30% rather than 5% and have more than doubled my score.

The new more accurate league standings coming soon.

Here's who is still in play.
Rip-n-Lips has Jason Quinn currently #1
Harbinger of Doom has Scott Rook currently #6
Flippen11 & S. Bassngirl have Alton currently #5
Burg fishboy, Sportland Early, Bemidji Mad cows & Cyb have Mike Iaconnelli #4.
And
The Yamahogs have Omori Takahiro currently in 12th and looking to move up.

They can all improve even Rip-N-Lips can slightly improve, but there is a real down side if any of these guys fail to perform tommorrow and don't make the final 6.

More Cuts tommorrow. For the Rest of us there is much needed improvement for next week at Smith Lake. The sooner I can kick Van Dam's and Menendez's sorry butt the better.

I don't know how I missed it as that I was aware one team had him.

#12 is a good place to be because all you can do is improve at this point.

Also MN local has Tommy Martin who got the #6 slot on day three and is in the final 6.

The early Scuttlebutt is that Iaconelli has now taken the lead. News soon on who is and isn't in the final and most important cut. Keep in mind that 12th place is at least 136 points less than 1st and at least 26pts less than 6th.

Looks like Harbinger of Doom and his guy Rook are looking to sink there hooks into the Iaconelli clan on the final day.

Looks like today was brutal for the bottom 6. How bout Wharton with 26lbs one day and a skunk the next. This tourny is anyones game tommorrow. Only 5-13 separating 1 from 6 and all of Day 1 and 2 top 3 out of the way.

Congrats to everyone who still has an angler left.

Lets see the movement stopped at spot 15. And for those with people still in play it's all about being in first place where those 50 plus extra points are.

Not to be mean or nothing but I am rooting for this outcome tommorrow.
1.Stone (144)
2.Pruitt (303)
3.Martin (308)
4.Rook (864)
5.Ike (1003)

Why? The number on the right is how many people picked that particular angler. The less people with high scores the better unless of coarse you are riding Ike, Rook, or Martin like some of our teams are.
