Chain of Lakes Report

[Captain Ken]

Took the maiden voyage of the year with the "Holy Masquinongy" on the chain. Launched at Hailing's and and made my way through Marie to Channel and Catherine. Marie has very low visability and Channel and Catherine are quite clear. Tossed a few musky baits along the breaks and towards shore on Catherine and Channel but no 'skies seen or felt. Stopped off in the bay of Marie and threw a few there too. Same results. Total fishing time 3 hours max. Water temp ranged from 48-50 degrees. Will fish Muskies Inc tournament on Saturday and hope for better results.

Ken, Your a better man than I Capt. Ken! My boat is still in the garage and is crying to get out on the water for the first time this season. Even the wife is yelling at me to get started. I fish Lake Geneva and the season won't open till may 3rd. Geneva is still in the low to mid 30's at this time. Good luck on Sat. Let's here how you did.
