Stream Reports?

How's the trout bite in NE? Not looking for anyone to give up their hidden streams, just an overall stream condition report. I recently heard that Iowa keeps their stream season open year 'round and was wondering if I should go in for an Iowa license...I flyfish with tiny midges and release everything I catch so I won't be ravaging Iowa trout country. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

thanks for the link IceC. loaded with good stuff. i was set to head down this weekend until i found out that a non-resident 7-day pass to fish iowa costs $27.50
not to start a border battle but what gives? although i bought a regular wisconsin fishing license for non-residents a friend of mine bought a non-resident 7-day wisconsin pass for like $13. Why are iowa passes more than twice the amount than wisconsin passes? is the fishing that hot?
