czl99
Has anybody ever tried bowfishing for carp? Is it very easy or do they get scared as soon as you get close to them to shoot? Is there any special regulations for bowfishing? Thanks for any help.------------------Fishing isn't everything it's the only thing.
Roughfisher
There are a ton of special regulations for shooting carp with a bow, you have to take all the carcasses of every fish you hit home with you for one. No leaving them on the riverbank. That's enough of a pain for me, no thanks, plus I like to catch them legitimately. They are less spooky during the spawn but that is over with now by and large. Catch them like a man, with a hook and line. Save your bow for the deer and bear.
panolo
They can be spooky. There are a few creeks that we get them at or if you have a platform boat and a quiet trolling motor you can get close enough for a shot. It is alot of fun but like the other fellas said by a trash can and dig a hole in the yard for them. Or some farmers will let you throw them on thier fields if you are lucky.
