jasonk
Use a hair rig, it is the only way to go. A Google search should give you a good diagram.
collegeoutdoorsman
When you use corn for carp, what type of hook do you use?
Crawlerman
Thin, gold hooks allways worked for me-- I haven't used one of those fancy "hair rigs" as I don't have the patience or time to make em. If someone knows where you can buy pre-made hair-rigs it'd be nice.. and I may give it a shot...
Guest
Use a hair rig with 4 or 5 grains of corn, or substitute one grain for a piece of yellow foam (the last grain on the 'hair'!!) to pop it up of the bottom a couple of inches, the carp can spot it better. As for hair rigs, if you would like me to show you how to tie the hair rig with the "Knotless Knot" then e-mail me at [email protected] Its so simple and theres no more fiddling about and getting annoyed. If you require anymore info on carp fishing, feel free to ask, i've been doing it for over 20 years!!!!!!!!!!
