Things are going very good in Iowa. I was out on Clear Lake today and the ice was 11 to 12 inches and growing fast. Spirit Lake Iowa is also doing very well with most of the lake at 10". There is a few things to think about when driving on a new body of water.

1st Is there any goose holes?

2nd Is there any aerators?

3rd. Watch for ice heaves and large cracks.

Make sure to check with local bait shops before going out on the lake. Have fun Be Safe and have a Happy Holidays!!!
