Whats the latest you been on the ice?

This week is the first week of May and I will be ice fishing and this is the latest I have been out. So what is the latest you have been out?

Last Saturday the 27th was latest for me but heading out today as it got down to 23 last night and now only 31 up here so hopefully things have firmed up again. Would go this weekend but have out of town plans.

This will be the latest year for most of us. I have been ice fishing for almost 30yrs and have never been on the ice later than mid April and that was in 08. This will have been a winter to remember

I was out last Sat. 27th. That was the latest fo me. Going again this Sat so I can say I ice fished in May. Bottomed out the auger on lake Bemidji Saturday to give you an idea of ice thickness.

Was on yesterday. Didn't fish, but wanted to step on just for the sake of being on ice on May 1st. I am sure some sconnies will try icN tomorrow, but I do not encourage it. It is getting bad out there with soft spots, and deteriating shorelines...

May 4th, I had the chance to fish with Scott, Juan and Dave Genz: Along with another 10-15 ice nuts! May 4th 2013 will go down in my log book as the "record" for me! The ice in the area is deteriorating VERY quickly, indeed it's time to be done in the Detroit Lakes area. When we were out, we had life jackets on, throwables in our hand and ice picks around our necks! The guys who took the better ice had Nebulus devices on their sleds! Only 7 months to go and we will be out there again!

I am going to say 12:59 pm but this year was the longest greatest season to date. Being on the ice in April is crazy and just think guys are still ice fishing in may.
