Ok it's a little crazy the awesome ice conditions we still have. Who's is still taking advantage of some of the best ice fishing of the season? Pike fishing up on LOTW was nothing less then excellent for us and now I have been spending my time out chasing walleyes with Jason Mitchell. The fish are positioned on shallow flats and I mean shallow... 3 to 4 feet of water from the bottom of the ice. Explosive bites on the Salmo Zipper!!!

This is a crazy year! Last year, I think here in the Black Hills, we hung onto the ice longer than anywhere else. Now this year, our ice is all but gone, and all I have to do is drive 6 hours, and I can find places with 3' of ice.

Mother Nature knows how to keep us on our toes.
