Man is it a good thing I had my Scout TC with me today. The rain that was forecast to switch to 1 - 3" of snow is still rain and the wind is blowing out of the east at 21mph. I got wet but I stayed much longer than I would have without the Scout. The crappie were feeding like crazy. This season I have been fishing almost exclusively with the Dave Genz True Blue series rods and I love them. The reels are smooth and the rods have a nice consistent bend. I landed some nice 12" crappie today on the ultra lights.
