Anthony Anania
I have an android phone and recently found a weather app that was really helpful today. It's called the bassmaster scout look weather app. On this app you can mark where you are gonna be fishing and get a weather forecast. you can see the lakes, but there are no contour lines to it. The helpful part is that you can get hour by hour weather as well as barometric pressure readings. The app coincides with a web page. so once you save your spots on your computer, you can sync the locations on your phone. I went out fishing today with my future father in-law and since I knew there was a cold front in the process of coming through, I made some adjustments and used more finesse tactics and caught more fish then him and some friends of his. It opened their eyes to other fishing approaches than the standard we caught fish last year on this lure. And it has opened my eyes as well to doing some pre-fishing homework before i hit the lake. bassinboy3
Sounds like a decent app, I really enjoy my Navionics app. Helps me do a lot of homework while selecting a lake. The down fall to this is saving spots is a public occurance so if you post a point others can see it. However it seems accurate and is very easy to use. bk_MN_iceman
Bassin - you don't have to save your pins to the community layer on Navionics. If you pick your spot and hit the question mark, there should be an option that says "Add to favorites" this just saves it locally on your device. When you are logged in and do the same but hit "edit map" that is when it goes to the community layer.
