YOU WILL LOVE THE LX. I LEFT MY VEXLAR NEVERTHINKING I WOULD. LOVE LOVE THE THE LX7 I HAVE. STILL USE VEX AS BACKUP.. ON THE LX7 IF I TURN DOWN SCREEN BRIGHTNESS WICH U DONT NEED ALL THE WAY UP I CAN FISH SUN UP TO DARK OR LATER NO PROBS.. THE LX9 IS PRETTY SWEET LOOKING, BUT MY DECIDING FACTOR WAS ITS BIGGER,TO MANY CORDS,AND HAVING THE CAMERA THAT CLOSE TO YOUR LINE CHANCES OF TANGLES. I WOULD SAY GET THE LX7 ALL THE SAME GREAT FEAUTURES AND USE THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY A AQUA VU MICRO. THEN U HAVE EVEN MORE VERATILTY AND THE CAMERA FITS IN YOUR POCKET JUST MY 2 CENTS
