Registrations and hole selection begins at 10am at Westwood Marina. Contest is from 12pm to 3pm.

2013 Mavericks BIG BOBBER Ice Fishing Contest Rules

1. The contest is scheduled for Saturday, February 2, 2013, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Lake Washington at Squirrel’s Nest Landing/Westwood Marina, located northeast of Mankato, MN. A horn and visual display will signal the official start at 12:00 noon. Contestants will be allowed inside the fishing area beginning at 10:00 am to select and set up at a hole. No fishing is allowed until the contest has officially started. Violators will be disqualified.

2. In the event of weather cancellation, listen for announcements on The Fan 1230 AM, KTOE 1420 AM or Minnesota 93 FM between 7:30 and 8:00 am or check www.msumavericks.com. The contest will NOT be rescheduled, and NO contest prizes will be awarded, however the Big Bobber Raffle will still take place at Westwood Marina on February 2nd, 2013. Raffle winners need not be present to win, and all raffle winners will be posted at www.msumavericks.com. Only pre-purchased tickets will be refundable in the event of weather cancellation.
