Polaris 600 vs 700

Now that I sold my 400 I am going to buy a 600 or a 700. I test drove each briefly at a local dealer and was wondering if anyone had any preference over one or the other. The 600 seemed to drive smoother and not as torguey (if that is a word). Also they both seemed to be a little cold blooded. Is that what to expect with the twin engines?
